Members of the Texas Chapter of PLUS participated in a charity golf tournament. Robert G. Chadwick, Jr., the Steering Committee Chair, spoke at the event.
The mission of PLUS is to enhance the professionalism of its members through education and other activities and to responsibly address issues related to professional liability. PLUS is recognized as the primary source of professional liability educational programs and seminars; assistance to its members to help serve clients; and information regarding professional liability.

Members of the Texas Chapter of PLUS volunteered to serve meals at the Stewpot, in Dallas, Texas.
PLUS (Professional Liability Underwriting Society) is a nonprofit organization established in 1986 to support and enrich the careers of people involved in the field of professional liability underwriting. The PLUS Foundation encourages and supports the philanthropic efforts of PLUS members. This year, the Texas Chapter of PLUS chose the Stewpot as one of its beneficiaries. Robert G. Chadwick, Jr., the Chair of the Texas Chapter of PLUS, presented a check to The Stewpot as part of the Chapter's support.
The Stewpot is a comprehensive resource center for homeless and at-risk individuals of Dallas. It has evolved from a soup kitchen to a model health and human service provider helping over 700 people each day. Programs include:
- Hot meals
- Dental clinic
- Medical and eye clinic
- Substance abuse counseling
- Case worker assistance
- On-site critical services like mental health, AIDS testing
- At-risk children & youth programs
- Access to mailing address and free voice mail
- Art program

Robert G. Chadwick, Jr. is the Chairman of the Steering Committee for the Texas Chapter of the Professional Liability Underwriters Society (PLUS), effective January 1, 2008. PLUS is an international organization comprised of individuals working in the professional liability industry. The Texas Chapter includes all PLUS members in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.
